We had a fine time last evening at Fatzinger Hall in Waterloo, NY. A large, enthusiastic crowd was on hand to support the Historical Society and Civil War Museum project, and they were lavish with their appreciation of the music, too!Allen and Jim at Fatzinger Hall in Waterloo, NYWe introduced "Old Empty Hall", a song written specifically for the occasion by yours truly. Caren Cleaveland's fine vocal interpretation was supported by Allen Hopkins on Dobro, Perry Cleaveland on Mandolin, and Jim Clare on Guitar. "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" finale at Fatzinger HallAllen Hopkins and Jim Clare played the first half of the show, and after a short intermission, the exciting Bristol Mountain Bluegrass played the second half. We wrapped up the evening with everyone on stage for a rousing rendition of "Will the Circle Be Unbroken", led by Allen.......and a goodly portion of the audience joined in on chorus. All in all it was a wonderful evening. Allen and I were very pleased to be a part of it, and I know all the musicians who participated hope to do another show at Fatzinger Hall very soon!
