Phil Shapiro Carrie Shore
Tunes By the Tracks Features Phil Shapiro & Carrie Shore for the November 18th show!!
Hosts Jim Clare, Cathy McGrath and Allen Hopkins are pleased and excited to have this popular regional duo as our headliners this month...!!
Phil and Carrie choose fascinating, energetic songs of American traditional folk, and add newer songs written squarely in the folk tradition.
A fine finger-style guitarist, creative and lively, Phil is adept at getting his guitar to "talk", as part of the song and the story. Carrie is an excellent classically trained violinist. who loves playing traditional tunes, and bluesy and slinky
improvisations.
...PLUS...our own Cathy McGrath & the STEPPIN' OUT STRING BAND ~

Barbara Jablonski, Kathleen Cappon, Becky Schneider & Cathy McGrath
Button accordion, washboard, hammered dulcimer, autoharp, guitar, flute, whistle, mandolin, banjo, and bass accompany folk songs and ballads with beautiful close vocal harmonies, lively traditional dance tunes and American patriotic music.
